Unique opportunity to establish an acute care surgical service with a high-functioning, collaborative, and integrated team dedicated to quality patient care. Position Highlights

About the Opportunity:

  • Practice at FirstHealth’s flagship campus, Moore Regional Hospital (MRH) in Pinehurst, North Carolina – a 402 bed acute care regional referral center.
  • 100% inpatient. Provide coverage for urgent/emergent general surgery. Includes laparoscopic and robotic technologies.
  • Hospital employment with the FirstHealth Physician Group, a physician-led, multi-specialty medical group of 400+ providers.
  • Exceptionally collegial relationship with Pinehurst Surgical Clinic, a local multi-specialty private practice.

Qualifications

  • Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved residency and fellowship programs.
  • Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery.
  • Unrestricted NC medical license, NC DEA, and ACLS certification through AHA.
  • Ability to meet credentialing requirements for active medical staff at FHMRH.
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure optimal interaction with a diverse patient population.
