FirstHealth of the Carolinas continues to expand and enhance our Neurology services. Our hospital-employed team of Neurologists invites a motivated Advanced Practice Provider to help grow and accelerate our program. We are a private, not-for-profit health care network based in Pinehurst, NC, serving 15 counties in the mid-Carolinas. Our organization is solidly positioned to expand neurological services. About the Opportunity: 

• Patient care team includes two physicians and two APPs.
• Weekday schedule with protected admin time. Low volume call.

• PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification. NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification. 
• The ideal candidate is someone who is motivated, self-directed, has a stable work history, and a genuine interest in neurology. Prefer prior experience in sleep medicine.
• Must be comfortable independently managing assigned patients in a busy practice environment with minimal oversight from the supervising physician. 
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision making.   
• Clean background, NC license, NC DEA, and BLS certification required.
